My 2012 CTS4 had to be towed to the dealership, un nerving at best as the car is totally electronic and it was completely dead. No door locks, trunk access or any other way to get into the vehicle. The car had my daily paperwork inside that I was unable to access adding another layer of Uh Oh to the dilemma. Once the car was at the dealer I contacted the service writer who cheerfully informed me when asked if he could get me into the vehicle, " C'mon down, I'll get you into it" What a relief. On with my days work. I stopped in at the dealership and he took me to the car and showed me how to gain entry if the electrical system or battery ever went dead so I wouldn't be stuck without my paperwork again, and told me that the mechanic would have to go through the system to try and determine what killed the battery. Later that afternoon the Service writer called to inform me that the car would need to be kept to continue to try and trace the problem...no problem, Thanks for the Call! The next afternoon he called again to let me know the car was repaired. Nothing could really be found, I guess you would chalk it up to one of those "Phantom" electrical things. So... I figure I'm into this thing for a tow and at least 3 or 4 hours of diagnostics... Thoughts of a thousand bucks are running through my mind. Who knows...maybe the door light was left on, or some electrical device wasn't shut off, all I figured was that if there was no discernible "hard wire" problem I was going to have to bite the bullet. I went to the cashier to pay for and pick up my vehicle, standing there waiting for the big slap in the face. Thoughts of "maybe I estimated the grand too low" tensions built in my mind as she searched for the paperwork on my car... when she pulled it from the file I tried to catch a glimpse of it to possible see the bottom line so I wouldn't look completely shocked when she gave me the total, but no luck. So I stood cringing...waiting on the number I had decided now would be somewhere between 1500 and 2000 dollars more realistically.... Nope! 0...zero...Zip...Nada.... Holy Cow! No tow fee, No diagnostic fee....nothing! They even washed my car! The service writer explained what to do again if the car went dead, and actually apologized to me for the inconvenience! My Salesman came over to make sure everything was OK... Service????? Above and beyond guys!!!! It's not often you experience really good service, but I have to say that Arnie Bauer really EXCEEDED my expectations! Customer for life! I own two cars, both purchased from this dealership, even months after the purchases I feel as though buying from Arnie Bauer has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! I broght my 2012 in for its 15000 mi service. As usual I was greeted by a friendly service rep. who asked how he could help me. I waited in the waiting area, which was clean, comfortable and convient. My car was serviced in a timely manor.It was washed and broght to the front door for me.
